And that’s a wrap for Week 24! Keep in mind Week 26 is coming! Half yearly wrap will take place (we’ll post details soon) and there will be another goodie being given away (details on that soon, too).

It’s never too late to join the fun! Don’t to add your images to the Flickr group or Facebook group! If they’re not in the groups, we can’t count them! We still have a number of lurkers in the group; if you’re participating but have not been posting, please do so now so that we can include you!

On that note, we will soon be cleaning out the group of people who have never posted an image. If you started, you can stay. But, ideally, we want to form a community. We’re friendly, so please get involved!

Week 24! Wait it is almost mid year! How? What? Huh?

Ritual week has brought out a fabulous crop of photos, oh hell, it even got Peter to submit “on time”. It is good to see Bob putting his ditpych experience back into play and Susan for experimenting well and truly outside of her comfort zone.

Barbara Nicholas: Week 24

Barbara Nicholas: Week 24

My pick for the week is Barbara, truly from a different point of view. I hope you enjoy your holidays.

As usual, David makes me laugh. No toy was harmed in the …. oh nevermind.

I got my Ritual photo done! Aren’t you all proud? No? Moving on, then…

This week has been busy, but that’s partly because I’ve been hard at work coming up with what’s next for VOTogs. Working on new content and what not, but also Kevin and I have been plotting what comes after this here 52, both at the end of the year and beyond. We have some great ideas. We’ll fill you in soon!

David Beach: Week 24

David Beach: Week 24

My choice this week was David. Again. What can I say? That warped sense of humour was a GREAT take on the word “Ritual” — was great to see something out of the box. That poor teddy bear, though… Also major props to Susan who experimented not only in style but in the production of her photo. Going to have to try that myself sometime!

Week 25 we want you to play with Silhouettes! Silhouettes can be used to startling effect, so how will you make your image come alive with this technique?

Week 26 is the halfway mark! Huzzah! We want to give you some options, some choice, and plenty of interpretations this week. The theme is The Seven Deadly Sins. Yup, we decided to throw a curve ball, ask people to consider a little bit of story telling and fiction (or maybe not?) in their image, and share with us a self-portrait featuring one of the Seven Deadly Sins (wrath, avarice, sloth, pride, lust, envy, and gluttony). Good luck ;)

Keep in mind the ‘rules‘, note you can find all the themes >>HERE<< and have fun this week!
