Receive a FREE CAMERA BAG from Think Tank Photo

Well, I broke the site today! We’ve just moved to a new, faster host server. The website shifted over perfectly; the forums, however, had a few hiccups. Many headaches later, we’re back up and running! So! Week 11!

It’s not too late for you to join the challenge! BUT, if you want to be in running for a chance to win a Think Tank Photo Turnstyle camera bag, you better start catching up quick for this quarter! Remember, you have to post your photos to the forums forums to be eligible to win! And, if you don’t want to go for the first quarter’s TurnStyle bag, if you complete Weeks 9 through 12, you could still win a Pixel Pocket memory card wallet!

You might want to start catching up now! Week 12 for the monthly wrap is about to come by, not to mention the quarter wrap not that far away! ALSO, have you seen V3 Photo? Check it out! But, onto this Week’s theme!

Week 11 is about Contrast. There are two options…

1) You could take a photo utilising high contrast in black and white. This would be an example of high contrast black and white photography — note the rich blacks and the use of light and shadow.

2) Or you could photograph something with contrasting elements. Contrast is defined as “the state of being strikingly different from something else in juxtaposition or close association.” An example could be a photograph of a lone surviving tree in the middle of a burnt out forest.

Entirely up to you what you photograph — portrait, self-portrait, landscape, architectural, street, any style you like. Have some fun with it.

Week 11 goes from the 12th of March until the 19th of March.

Swing by on the 20th of March for Week 12’s theme!

Keep in mind the Rules and you can find all the themes >>HERE<<

Finally, join our new forums and remember to post your weekly entry in the thread over there!
